Definition:  Process water that is removed from the furnish during formation of the sheet.

Context:  Stock, at controlled consistency, is provided at a constant head by an elevated headbox (stuff box, level box). Some such headboxes also incorporate the consistency control. Eg: Circulation Stuff Box (Koei Industry. NA: Benco). The stock is diluted with white water, from the wire pit silo, at the fan pump.
