Context:  Paper produced from pressurized groundwood pulp is more tear resistant than paper made from stone-ground pulp, but is slightly inferior to that of thermomechanical pulp. Pressurized groundwood pulping may have the potential for displacing some high-quality chemical pulps in the manufacture of newsprint and other printing papers.
