If paper is sold in reels, the winding operation is followed by wrapping. If paper is sold in sheets, after winding the paper web is transformed into sheets by means of the sheeter. Cut-size paper can be wrapped with paper based wrappers to form reams (ream wrapping) and finally wrapped with plastic films based wrappers or it can be bulk packed, that is to say stacked on the pallet and over-wrapped with plastic films based wrappers (bulk packing). |
