From the refined pulp storage chests, the appropriate volumes of refined pulps are simultaneously pumped into a blending tank, and along the way, solutions or suspensions of chemicals and fillers are fed into the stock lines with metering pumps. Agitators in the blending chest complete the mixing. Alternatively, chemicals and fillers may be added as solids or liquids to the pulping and blending operations. |
